| Surrogate Project. 2003. Compressed sponge, envelopes. 9” x 10.5” each. In this work compressed sponge silhouettes of the artist were sent via the mail. Once received individuals could place the silhouettes in water causing them to expand. Photos were taken documenting the silhouettes in use. |
